A commercial damp survey is used to identify any moisture ingress in a property, at the source of the moisture. This can be any type of damp from rising damp to penetrating damp and even condensation. A professional surveyor will be able to correctly diagnose the type of damp and the extent of the problem. The surveyor will detail their findings in a survey report, and will provide recommendations for any solutions if necessary.
This depends on the size and type of property, as much larger properties, such as hotels, may take longer than a typical terraced property. All professional damp surveys involve a thorough inspection which can take time. A damp surveyor is not just quoting for damp proofing, but fully investigating the source of moisture both external and internally, our comprehensive report will also provide you with recommendations and advice for general defects if required.
